It's been a while since we published a TADA downloads chart. Our apologies. No excuses, really, though we did head up to Tokyo last week to interview Tenniscoats and 4 Bonjour's Parties (an amazing gig - read all about it here). We've also taken the time to discover the wonders of Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi Kabaddi, who we hope to be bringing you coverage of soonish, not to mention chatting with the sublime Mondialito and Akira Kosemura. Things are looking up on the Japanese underground!

In the meantime, it's all-change in the TADA downloads top 5.

It's been a slow week, news-wise, here at TADA Music. However, we can promise you a wonderful interview with Toki from Mothercoat later this week, and we're also in the midst of talking to a whole bunch of bands, from Tenniscoats to Mondialito. What a wonderful job this is!

The 1st TADA download charts became available yesterday, documenting how popular our featured artists were with our readers during the week ending April 13th, 2008. The number 1 spot comes as no surprise, considering the recent release of The Loving Oven's If I Told You single, but fans of The Grizzly Folk will be happy to see the entry of Let's Have You - a collection almost a year old.
