Based around the song-writing skills of the mighty Sakura, Roi Schaider are one-part funk and two-parts rockabilly - a heady concoction indeed. Formed in 2003, the band grew from the rubble of the Fukuoka rockabilly and garage punk scenes and are now a regular fixture on the live circuits in Tenjin, Hakata and Kitakyushu. 2007 saw the release of their 2nd 4-track EP (available below), though Sakura is also very active as a solo acoustic performer.
